SHIT. My blog post is dued.

Okay. So what happened in the last 4 weeks.

Ohh ohh.
There were so many AGMs in the last 2 weeks, namely SME, BIE and my beloved ASHRAE.
ASHRAE's AGM was SUPER cool. The theme was flight so we had to wear pilot uniforms. And the girls were the stewardess. It was an overall success and we had loads of fun. There were so many cameras during the AGM. There was one part where all the main committee had to stand in front of the audience and the cameras were snapping away. I was abit scared to look up, so I faced the floor all the way. After the AGM, we had refreshments and then there were many more cameras clicking away. By the time the whole event was over, I could still imagine light flashing in my eyes.

Ohh yes.
Then there's the ASHRACE event.

Another sucess.

There were 5 teams in total. 2 from AMS, 2 from IBT and one mixed group. We had loads of fun and joy and laughter and etc, etc. Here are some of the pictures from the event.

OKAY. Hmm, what shall I add on to this blog after years and years of exile. Ohh OHH. I want to watch Spiderman 3! Anybody wanna go?

Ohh yes. The new year as started. School's filling in with freshies. Some familiar faces, some not. But what's different in this year than last year is that, Im in ASHRAE! That's my diploma club. Im currently in the Main Committee as an Assistant QuarterMaster. Since I just joined ASHRAE less than a month ago, that's kinda of a big deal for me. Its in this year that Ive got more involved in Engineering clubs. This started ever since I joined the MTC/ Orientation before the school started. Meet loads of new people such as Zul, Sufiyan, Shurah, the-girl-who-calls-me-squirrel, Wen Long, Marriane, Tiffany, Nad, Haikal, Nick, Gay, Gerrard, Kumar, Pang, the girls from BZE (I really cant remember all your names! Sorry :( ), and many more. Its been really REALLY fun. I wish those who are running for ESC good luck! I might be running next year though.

Ohh yeah. And my timetable. Hehe. I <3 my timetable.

And I like many other things too.

Just lazy to type everything out.

JUMP!

Finally! MTC and Week Zero is over! It was so fun! I want to thank the people from Admin Committee, Sufiyan, Arep, Tiffany, Wen Long, Darren, Wei Li, Ain, Renmin, Marriane, Xin Yin, Hui Wen, Bernice, Karen, Alvin, See Khee and Vanessa, people from Program Committee, Zul, Bao Fa, Pang and others, and not forgetting people from the Logistic Committee, Sherman and team, for the fun things we did and a very enjoyable 4 days 3 nights camp. Miss you guys!

Today was the most memorable day of my entire life! (well so far, that is) Me, Clement, Lay Leng, Ijah and Fathiah went to watch The Phantom of the Opera at Esplanade theatre. The theatre was BIG. The props were breath-taking. The Chandelier, pillars, and the stage (the Masquerade part). We were sitting on the 3rd level but still can see and hear the actors and orchestra clearly. My favourite part throughout the whole show. As in during the whole theatre performance. My seat was kinda far, but I can still clearly see the lights emerging from the smoke. It was kinda cool. Plus the orchestra. It was really worth the ticket price and I didnt regret every second of it. The effects, lights, fire, everything. If you only intend to watch one show throughout your entire life, this is it. DON'T wait. And no, Esplanade is not paying me to do this advertisement. But I wish they would. =) Ive got some pictures though, but my handphone gave problem and I can't upload my pictures. Grr.

Anyway, there was a post autograph session by the cast of The Phantom of the Opera and I wanted to go. I mean, its only once! I wished it was Sarah Brightman who acted as Christine Dae. She was better. And I want her autograph. But Fathiah had to go to school tomorrow and we all had to go. Sighh. Party popper. In the end, before we left, we took photo together with the poster. Ill upload it when I get my phone to srat working again. Sighh. Im going to miss today. I want to go again! Ill just keep wishing then. Ahhahas.

Alrighty. That's it for the day, sadly. Ive got the songs if anybody wants it. Yup. So in the words of the Phantom himself, it's over now, the music of the night.

Anyway, I went to watch movie (TMNT) with Irham and Danny today at Vivo City. It was kinda fun. Irham went up to the counter and said, "I would like to watch Ninja Turtle." Sounds pretty weird to me. The show was quite fun and witty one-liners. Should watch this if you have time. So that's it for today. G'nights!

This song was featured in the movie, Underworld Evolution. One of my favourite movies and one of the nicest songs by them. Had been listening to loads of jazz and pop, so decided to take a break and listen to my kind of songs. So here and enjoy.


So anyway, this is going to be a short post. Got to get to work soon. Its really tiring. Plus I have to do all the plannings. Sigh.

Yeah, anyway, yesterday (ohh wait, since it happened after 12am, should be today) I was working at Esplanade for the Carleen Andersoon performance. After the show ended, there was a fight between one of the patrons and the ushers. Apparently the 2 caucasians patrons were drunk (I SEEN drunk people, but these guys were beyond drunk!)The security guard had to escort them out of the Studio. I had finished my work then and I made my way to the taxi stand. Those 2 drunks were in front of me at the Escalator and I could tell they werent local as they were smoking in Esplanade. and I mean IN Esplanade. Idiots.

Ive met a few local celebrities on my line of work, and that includes Vivian Tan, Randall Tan, Najib Ali, Elizabeth Tan, Enlai, Jacintha Abisheganaden (I had to check that on wikipedia)and Timothy Goh. My job is kinda interesting since you get to meet different kinds of people in different kinds of situation in different kinds of places from different parts of the world. PLUS Ive got their handphone numbers, and yes, that includes the pretty pretty ones. :)

Ohh! Heres a random quote from one of my favourite comedian, Craig Ferguson,

Listening to: Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country (Live in San Diego)

It's amazing how this band can perform better live than in CD. I mean, most bands doesnt perform even half as good as what they play on CD. One example is Trivium, which was surprising, since I mentioned in one of the previous post, they are the band that won the Golden Hammer Award. SO ANYWAY, back to a7x. And no, this band is not satanic. And they are not that religious either, contrary to listeners beliefs.

To quote M. Shadows, the lead singer for Avenged Sevenfold, also known as a7x by fans around the world,

"Anyone that read the lyrics and really knew anything about us, they would know we're not promoting either", he said. "That's one thing about this band that I love is that we never really shove any kind of, like, political or religious beliefs on people. We just, the music's there to entertain and maybe thought-provoking on both sides, but we don't try to, like, really shove anything down anyone's throat. There's too many bands that do that nowadays, I think."

And he is definitely right.

So yeah. Im just going to introduce this band for abit more before going off to the song and the POST-OF-THE-DAY.

He had a minor surgical operation to repair his vocal strain after the first album, Sounding The Seventh Trumpet. This vocal strain was caused by a large amount of screaming. You can really tell the difference between his first album and the rest.

EXAM WEEK.

Okay maybe its too late to write that now, since Ive got just one more last exam tomorrow then Im free for the holidays. Well maybe not THAT free, since Ive decided to work.
Yup. So just now I had my IWD paper. It was kinda tough. I just suddenly blacked out last minute and forgot most of what I memorised (technically I didnt memorise alot since time is a luxury I cant afford). After that all of us started worrying about DFUND, which is tomorrow. I went home and decided to take a short nap before going out to study with anybody. I was too tired that my short nap became a quite-a-long-nap. Woke up at 5pm and started to panic and call my friends who actually knows DFund. In the end, I took a cab to school to study with Mao, Kai, Fad, Weiqi, Joyce and Si Jie. We studied for about two hours in school before they decided to go to Serangoon to study. So Si Jie took his car and we travelled to Serangoon.

The ride to Serangoon was FUN! We were singing to JT's My Love and Sexyback. Actually Fad was doing more of the singing and Joyce was recording it. Mao was busy telling Fad to shut up, Kai was playing a racing game on my handphone (he was banging policemen) and me, I had to join in in making as much noice as possible. Then there was one point in time when the car was travelling at quite a fast speed and there was a hump in front. All of was was like screaming to Si Jie's ear, "HUMP! HUMP! HUUUUMPPP!" I pity that guy.

We manage to reach there safe and unharmed and started studying DFund. It was more of a discussion than a study thing as we all went around asking question. Everybody was so hyper even though it has been a long day. Wish we had more studying time like this.

Then on the way back, left with me, Fad, Mao, Wei An and our driver, Si Jie. First our topic was illegal U turns, drifting, and cutting the cabs (the song playing on the player was Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift, ironical isnt it?), then the topic changed to O levels, Art (Mao), DNT (Fad), POA (Si Jie) and Biology (Me). Then start talking about SKL (cigarette). Then driver's licence. By the time we finish talking, we had reach Simei and I had to drop off.

So that's it for the day. It has been a FUN but tiring day. I want to give a shout-out to all those guys, namely Mao, Si Jie, Joyce, Fad, Kai and Wei Ann, who manage to turn this "boring" study thing to a fun and entertaining discussion. :)

Other than that something else happened this week. I dont want to mention it again, but if you are reading this, I dont know what's going on, but Im going to say thanks. Thanks for understanding.
